“Seeds of Life”
with Mathias Gmachl.
Sculptural public space installation, Kunstmeile Krems, 28.6. - 5.10.2025 Krems an der Donau, Austria
Birch, recycled wooden blocks, live plants, recorded nature sounds, animated and sola lights
Seeds of Life wants to promote conversations about how to coexist and nurture rather than harvest and only see nature as a way to gain material profit. How do we, as individuals and societies, find ways to protect and accommodate natural life? How to bring it into our cities? Our lives? How to see the nurture as two directional; we give the plants shelter and care, they bring us air to breath and a place for our minds and bodies to rest. The work was created during a six week residency with AIR - Artist in Residence Niederösterreich.
