NOT NOT EGGS is an immersive, tactile dreamscape that exists between fertility and rot, action and silence. Through installation, sound, projection and textiles, Tulvio transforms the gallery into a spatial meditation on desire, creation, and becoming. The exhibition is an ode to the imaginary babies that were never to be, to the body that incubates and blooms, and to the hands that insist on making something out of nothing.
The title draws on Sheila Heti’s writing on motherhood and identity, embracing negation as a generative space. Rather than defining the self through absence, NOT NOT EGGS proposes a state of openness: not lack, not refusal, but possibility. The work inhabits the fragile territory where longing has not yet hardened into fear; where want has not yet become a need.
Tulvio’s installation brings together projections, sound and soft sculptural forms, enveloping the viewer in a sensorial environment. The projection includes material from TheBioCosmos, extending the exhibition’s exploration of organic processes, transformation and time.
